Why You Love This Job
As a member of the Talent Acquisition Team, the Talent Sourcer will work closely with the recruiters to identify and qualify viable candidates for technical roles.  You will work collaboratively to promote a comprehensive candidate capture strategy, requiring both fast turnaround for immediate hires and long–term relationship–driven candidate pipeline cultivation and provide a high level of client service.
Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct effective intake sessions with the segment Talent Advisor by listening actively, asking probing questions, and engaging the Hiring Manager/Talent Advisor to understand the specific needs of the role.
  • Develop, document, and execute effective sourcing strategies designed to recruit hard to fill roles in limited candidate spaces. Gain expertise on the market and competitive landscape and evaluate successful sources used in the past. Perform direct sourcing activities. Identify, contact and network with diverse and targeted candidates.
  • Generate referrals from all high-quality candidates/contacts. Contact and qualify employee and candidate referrals.
  • Develop candidate relationship management strategies. Network and maintain relationships with key candidate communities for short and/or long-term opportunities.
  • Identify sources for diversity candidates by developing relationships with affinity groups.
  • Conduct effective pre-screen of external passive and active candidates.
  • Forward qualified candidates to Talent Advisor and follow up for feedback on candidates selected to interview.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with recruiters, recruiting managers and clients.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of sourcing metrics. Adjust sourcing strategies and execution as needed to continuously improve throughput ratios.
  • Provide recommendations for most effective and cost-efficient search options, as appropriate.
  • Ensure that candidate tracking is up-to-date and compliant in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
Talents Needed for Success
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience as a sourcer or recruiter preferably in financial and technology industries
  • Prior experience screening and interviewing candidates beyond email communication  
  • Prior experience with creating and implementing sourcing strategies
  • Excellent organization skills
