SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) Pipeline 


This is not a typical QA Tester Role, this is a Developer in Test Role - We are looking for someone that has a strong understanding of object oriented principles.  As a member of this team, you will be writing OO code, this is not scripting.



• Building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional and regression testing.

• Developing code for quality automation and ensuring extensive test coverage of product code.



• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field (eg.  Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc.).

• Strong understanding of modern OO language (eg. Java, Python, C++, etc.)

• Familiarity of software development methodologies (eg. Senior or capstone project run in agile fashion)

• Understanding of and how to apply design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, Dependency Injection, etc.

• Knowledge of Windows and Unix-like environments.

• Basic understanding of databases (Oracle or Postgres preferred)

• Strong written and oral communication skills as well as strong analysis and problem solving skills.

• Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.  Demonstrate a high level of motivation, confidence, integrity, and responsibility.


A plus:

• A working knowledge of Selenium and the Page Object Model
