About this Opportunity

   

As an ITP Application Developer candidate will work closely with Business and various Enterprise Infrastructure teams to assists in the technical design of application components, build applications, interfaces between applications, and understand data security, retention, and recovery on distributed platform and AWS. Candidate should be able to research technologies independently and recommend appropriate solutions, contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards. As an Agile squad member candidate will contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, reuse, extensibility, usability and scalability.

The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.

AD delivers solutions that respond to the business needs of the global capital markets with quality, efficiency, and excellence, using innovative technologies and providing secure information management.



Sound Like You?

  • The candidate should have a BS degree in an IT related field or equivalent training and 10 years working in an enterprise, mission critical environment (Financial Services a plus)   

Specific Skills/Technologies


  • Multiple years application development experience with Enterprise Java
  • Strong knowledge of : REST, JSON, SWAGGER, APIs, Micro-Services, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Nodejs
  • Agile/Scrum, Jira, Iterative, Team Development
  • Exposure with CI/CD and DevOps a huge plus
  • Track record of designing and implementing enterprise applications
  • Serverless Compute, Security, Transactional Processing, and High Resiliency.
  • Strong knowledge of Database and Database development tools: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, (AWS RDS, AWS Aurora, AWS DynamoDB – Preferred)
  • Knowledge of federated authentication and authorization models 
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong customer service orientation

 

Preferred Skills

 

·         In depth knowledge of the AWS cloud computing platform, its many services and dimensions of scalability - including but not limited to: Lambda, S3 (Object Storage), VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), EC2, EBS (Block Storage under high I/O), ELB/Elastic Beanstalk (load-balancing and auto-scaling), SQS(messaging), Cloud Formation for AWS Orchestration, Alternative Queuing Platforms, CloudWatch and RedShift

·         Knowledge and experience with Python and Groovy is a plus, but not required

·         Cloud methodologies and architecture (IaaS, PaaS), automation, orchestration

·         Experience working with automation tools, Cloud management tools
