Business Unit Description:


Our Risk Management teams work to protect the safety and soundness of our systems and are responsible for identifying, managing, measuring and mitigating a spectrum of key risk types including credit, market, liquidity, systemic, operational and technology in all existing and new products, activities, processes and systems.


Position Summary:


The Security Officer oversees Internal Security operations and Security Officers during assigned shift/tour.


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Enforces the rules, regulations and procedures of the corporation in order to control access, prevent trespassing and prevent loss or damage to persons or property on premise
  • Ensures that guard posts are properly staffed and inspects such posts on a regular basis.
  • Ensures that administrative records are properly maintained.
  • Ensures that Security Officers enforce regulations & procedures.
  • Interfaces with other departments to ensure that security services are properly provided.
  • Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalate observed risks appropriately

Qualifications:

  • Work experience in a similar business environment preferred
  • 1-2 years managerial experience preferred
