Business Unit Description

The OCIO PMO department is responsible for execution of all the projects within the enterprise Information Technology investment portfolio.

 

Position Summary

The Senior Business Specialist supports the Executive Director of OCIO PMO by running the day-to-day operations of the OCIO PMO. The incumbent does this by producing reports, analytics, and metrics on the operations of the OCIO PMO.

 

Specific Responsibilities

 

·       Manage all organizational data for the OCIO PMO, including employee rosters, financial budgets, and organization demographics

·       Manage resource data, including current allocations, demand planning, time compliance, and skills assessment

·       Create and maintain databases for PMO organization data, as well as project and program data

·       Provide reporting, analysis, and trending on all data managed in the PMO

·       Create and report on metrics and KPIs for the PMO Organization

·       Manage communications for the PMO, both internally and externally to the organization

·       Create and maintain process documents for the operations of the PMO

·       Manage PMO websites; maintain, update, and identify improvement opportunities and implement them

·       Organize PMO business and social activities and cross-site networking

·       Own and implement process improvements for the PMO organization

·       Take on ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

 

·       Minimum of 5 years of related experience

·       Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
