Position Summary:

The Portfolio Specialist develops and produces reporting to support the OCIO PMO in the execution of portfolios, programs and projects.  The Portfolio Specialist also manages the OCIO PMO set of analytic and reporting tools.




   Supports the Manager, Portfolio Governance and Reporting in defining the suite of portfolio, program and project reporting for the OCIO PMO.

    Develops KPIs and analytics to gage the portfolio health including financial, delivery, and Risk metrics.

     Produces tactical and executive level reports and presentations on a weekly, monthly and ad-hoc basis.

     Assesses the portfolio of reporting and analysis and continuously improves the content and quality of offerings.

      Manages the OCIO PMO toolset including SharePoint Site, PMO database and Power BI tools.

      Utilizes DTCC tools (e.g., HP PPM, JIRA, etc.) and methods to analyze and gather data needed for analysis and reporting of projects, programs, and portfolios.

      Assess OCIO PMO utilization of DTCC program and project management toolsets, identifies pain points, areas for improvement and recommends corrective actions.

      Monitors data quality to ensure accuracy of reporting and recommends improvements as required.

      Ensures consistency of data and reporting with other OCIO and DTCC reporting entities.

      Works with Program and Project managers to identify and develop reporting and analysis needs to support the execution of projects and programs and projects.


Specific Skill/Technology:

•      3-5 years experience in IT, Finance, PMO or project management

•      Demonstrated experience in portfolio and project analysis and reporting

•      Experience with HP PPM or similar Portfolio and Project Management systems preferred

•      SharePoint development and Database experience highly desired

•      Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles including Agile and Waterfall preferred

•      Program or project management experience a plus

•      Competency in Microsoft Office Suite

•      Knowledge of portfolio management discipline

•      Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles including Agile and Waterfall
