Business Unit Description:

The Marketing & Communications team enhances the image and reputation of the DTCC brand and drives the growth of its businesses by creating integrated outreach programs to disseminate company news and information in communication strategies aligned with key corporate and business goals targeted to internal and external stakeholders globally.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing programs aimed at raising visibility in the marketplace and generating sales interest.  

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Under the supervision of the management team, support the development and execution of marketing programs/initiatives aimed at raising industry awareness and generating sales leads for the Derivatives, Collateral and Data Services businesses. Specific tactics include but are not limited to: asset development, webinars, email communications, direct mail, advertising, social media, budget maintenance, etc.
  • Requires liaison with assigned business contacts and other key internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Maintains detailed, updated knowledge of relevant DTCC products and services, especially as it relates to the business assigned.  
  • Understands market drivers, competitive landscape and target clients.  
  • Collaborates with Sales/RM and Product Management to ensure alignment on all initiatives
  • Partners with regional marketing counterparts on relevant product marketing initiatives by region
  • Coordinates with direct team as well as broader Marketing & Communications team to ensure brand alignment and collaboration on cross promotional opportunities
  • Updates various performance metrics; produces and distributes reports to stakeholders
  • Project management including planning and scheduling, issue identification/resolution/escalation, communication
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

  • Strong writing skills and marketing background preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree and Masters or equivalent experience
