Business Unit Description:

Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) delivers infrastructure capabilities that emphasize the collaboration between development and infrastructure to meet business needs. This is done by providing technology services that are agile, timely, cost-effective, and risk appropriate.

Position Summary:

An Infrastructure Services Architect has hand-on experience with the ability to provide comprehensive technical consultation to business unit, IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of the project development cycle.  

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with client management and application developers to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes (e.g., diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools, etc.).
  • Convert these requirements into a choice of solutions or/and recommends that provide the most efficient and cost- effective solution.
  • Requires excellent analytical ability for architecture and flows, strong judgment and probe analysis techniques, an in-depth knowledge of business unit’s functions and applications, and broad knowledge of technology platforms.
  • Perform research, analysis, system design, documentation, testing implementation and on-going support for the infrastructure environment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
