Business Unit Description:

The Global Operations, Client Services & Administration group delivers world-class safety and soundness for the global financial services industry. The team provides DTCC’s portfolio of core securities and superior transaction processing and client services support in an environment that minimizes risk and cost while maximizing efficiency.

Position Summary:

Incumbents serve as liaisons between Operations business groups and IT (ADM and Infrastructure), and as technical consultants and developers on the more routine automation development projects.  Incumbents also evaluate and recommend software solutions, perform self-audits of PTS profile administration, participate on project teams, and provide training to users.  Incumbents respond to ongoing mainframe access requests.  

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Participate in long-term automation projects through all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, prototype development, testing, development, and ongoing user/customer support.
  • Develops tools (e.g., databases, spreadsheets) that facilitate preparation and presentation of business metrics related to divisional benchmarks and the Balanced Business Scorecard.
  • Support the coordination of disaster recovery and business continuity planning exercises.
  • Responsible for conducting, reviewing, analyzing, resolving, and escalating the results of any manual or automated compliance/regulator related Transaction Monitoring, OFAC screening, Section 311 including, but not limited to AML/BSA related monitoring conducted by the business unit
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Hands-on knowledge of Access, Excel, Attachmate, Notes, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Hands-on programming capability in Visual Basic, SQL, and similar languages.
  • Knowledge of mainframe and web-based application design.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
