Business Unit Description:

 

Enterprise Security Management is a globally diverse and distributed team.  The ESM portfolio includes, but is not limited to Infrastructure Security Services, Cyber Security Operations, Security Engineering, Security Projects and Delivery, Cloud Security and Enterprise Cyber Security Governance and Security Risk Management.

 

Position Summary:

 

This role has responsibility for the Infrastructure Security Services, engineering and operations.  The four primary Services behind Security Area are Compliance Security Baseline, Security Event Management, Host and Networking Monitoring, Vulnerability Data Collection. Most of these services will be sourced internally as a part of DTCC Enterprise Infrastructure strategy.

The ISS Engineer can fall into one of three broad categories:

1.             a customer-focused Services.

2.             a technical specialist overlay Security Technologies.

3.             a hybrid SE—a combination of the two.

 

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

The Technology Engineer is a customer-focused technical professional with direct technical accountability for Infrastructure Security Technology and understanding of adjacent technologies.  Engage customers face-to-face or via collaborative tools and technology such as Skype, Video Calls, etc.  Some Engineers may be deployed in a pooled / shared capacity a portion of their time.   1. Support and manage ISS Security Technologies based on Service Management process (IM/CM/PM/ConfM/Fulfillment).
  2. Maintain Technology components of the application up and running.
  3. Maintain the Technology updated based on best practices (Patch Management).
  4. Heath Check: Weekly Review and Mitigation of the all Errors or Critical Notifications from your technology (e.g. Services up, Memory, Disk Space, Process Running, Connections, etc.)
  5. Event Management / Monitoring: Responsible of monitor and update all alarms and notifications of him technology daily(SNOW, Email, etc.)
  6. Proactively identify deficiency in the Security Services.
  7. Attend a Critical Situation Management for support application.
  8. Manage and Maintain Operation System (Linux, Windows) or Data Base Technologies (Oracles/Sybase/etc.) if applicable.  
  9. Maintain and operate the SLA in Infrastructure Services.

  

Key Accountabilities

  1. Technical Service owner of Infrastructure Security Services (Security Technologies)
  2. Knowledge of Linux and Windows.
  3. Knowledge Security Technologies of the industry (Vulnerability Scan, Access Management, Event Correlation, etc.)  
  4. Management security services reports and matrix results.
  5. Support Service Operation from Security Services (IM, PM, CM, ITAM) process and procedures.
  6. Maintains policy and procedures manuals, RACI, and Risk.
  7. Maintains evidence repositories.
  8. SLA Technical Levels (Different Classifications P1, P2, P3, P4 related technology).

 

Required Education/Experience:

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Business Management, Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or related professional experience.
  2. ITIL v3 minimal (Information Technology Infrastructure library) certification
  3. 5+ years experience in Infrastructure Security Technology.
  4. Demonstrable basic experience in Operation, Design, and Implementation Security Tools or similar. 
  5. Demonstrable basic experience with Security Tools (or similar) or Network Technologies (firewall, proxy technologies, etc.)
  6. Basic knowledge of security policy and procedures
  7. Experience with remote activities and skills to work by objectives.
  8. Ability to proactively & effectively manage risk on high to very high-risk project.
  9. Experience with MS Office Suite (include MS Visio) to document all information related his/her technologies.
